A Don't Hug Me Christmas Carol is one part Fargo (minus the woodchipper) and one part A Christmas Carol shaken vigorously and served over ice. It's Christmas Eve in Bunyan Bay, Minn., and cantankerous bar owner Gunner storms out of an argument with his wife and takes to the lake on his snowmobile. Next thing you know ... crash! The ice breaks and Gunner plunges through. After he's rescued, a coma-ridden Gunner journeys to a dream world full of surprises, not the least of which is a visit from the ghosts of Christmas past, present and future -- all played by folk legend Sven Yorgensen. Gunner's unusual journey gets a fittingly rare soundtrack, with original songs like "Gramma Cut the Christmas Cheese," "The Wheel is Turnin' but the Hamster Is Dead" and "I Love You More Than Football."
