The juxtaposition of this sorry situation with jokes about Botox parties and passing gas in yoga class is disconcerting, to say the least."

"...Clearly, I'm not the target demographic for "Big Pants and Botox," but it's frankly difficult to imagine women of a certain age looking to see themselves on stage will find a whole lot to like here. Barbara's sense of empowerment is continually undercut, The moral victories are so small as to be nearly indiscernible and her final, chin-up monologue carries a whiff of futility."
