Star Tribune- Recommended
"...The production, staged with effervescence by Chicago director Sean Graney, has oodles of charm, even if all its whiz-bang-ery seems almost too much for this collection of simple stories."

Twin Cities Pioneer Press- Highly Recommended
"...It's that curiosity and wide-eyed fascination that drives "Busytown," a musical adaptation of Scarry's tales that playwright Kevin Kling and composer Michael Koerner have created. Currently being presented at Minneapolis' Children's Theatre Company, it's driven by humming, chugging, fast-paced urban energy. Astonishingly enough, it takes only a sextet to make a city, and "Busytown" is such a hotbed of action that you might feel exhausted for the six actors who bring this metropolis to life. Yet it's a very fun place to visit for audience members of any age."

How Was The Show- Recommended
"...Busytown, the Musical adds up to not very much and if you demand that theater has power and definable meaning, well, you might want to give this one a pass. But if you want fun and thrills, boffo performances, tuneful music (and if you have some bona fide children to take with you) then Busytown is your person. The kids will be delighted and you'll have a good time as well."
