A Christmas Story: The Musical Dec 1 - Dec 10, 2017
The Loft Stage A Christmas Story: The Musical

The leg lamp, the pink bunny suit, the Chinese restaurant, the frozen flag pole -- all your favorites from the film are here in this musical adaptation of the movie-turned-TV-classic A Christmas Story, which even happens to include a tune called "You'll Shoot Your Eye Out." With a score from the Oscar-winning composing team of Pasek and Paul (Dear Evan Hansen, La La Land), this holiday spectacular follows the Yuletide adventures of Ralphie, a cherubic '40s-era kid who's got one simple Christmas wish: He wants a Red Ryder BB gun. Or, more specifically, a "Red Ryder carbine-action, 200-shot range model air rifle with a compass in the stock and this thing which tells time." But the grown-ups in his life are rightfully wary of the request. This song-filled romp offers up a heaping helping of fun family holiday entertainment at the Woodbury Community Theater's Loft Stage.
