Princess Diana the Musical Returns to Cabaret at Camp Bar
Oct 5, 2013

Princess Diana

After a successful area premiere of  Princess Diana the Musical earlier this summer, Actors Theater of Minnesota is pleased to announce a remount of the production at the Cabaret at Camp Bar November 1 through December 1, 2013. McKayla Marso and Sean Dillon return to their royal roles as Diana and Prince Charles under the direction of Ross Young with musical direction by Kevin Dutcher.

The touching musical by award-winning songwriter Karen Sokolof Javitch and author Elaine Jabenis follows "The People's Princess" on her journey from an unknown 17-year-old to the most famous woman in the world. The story focuses on Prince Charles and Diana from their courtship and marriage to their divorce and that fateful day in August of 1997. With over 20 original songs, Princess Diana the Musical captures the charm, grace, compassion, and-of course-style that was Diana.

Audiences fell in love with the show earlier this summer with 94% rating the show as "Very Good" or "Excellent," and 85% saying they were "Very likely to recommend the show to a friend."

Joining Marso and Dillon on stage are Adam Qualls, Megan Kelly Hubbell, Charles Hubbell, Wendy Freshman, Emily Thorkildson, Martino Mayotte, Seth Gabriel, Melanie Wehrmacher, and Alicia Storkamp. The production team includes scenic design by Robin Mcintyre and costumes by Seri Johnson.

Tickets are $24.50 for general admission or $34.50 for reserved seating at cocktail tables. Visit BrownPaperTickets.com or call 800-838-3006 for reservations. Princess Diana the Musical plays at the Cabaret Theater at Camp Bar, 490 North Robert Street, in Saint Paul. Parking is available at street meters (free after 4:30 p.m.) and pay lots.
