Theatre in the Round to Close 64th Season with Jeeves Intervenes

Jeeves IntervenesTheatre in the Round Players (TRP) closes its 64th season with Jeeves Intervenes, by Margaret Raether, from the stories of P.G. Wodehouse, in weekend performances during July (July 8-31, 2016).

Wealthy, witty playboy Bertie is being finagled into marriage by meddling relatives. And his old school chum Eustace may be shipped off to India entirely. So the hapless pair hatch a scheme to escape. Can their ever-faithful valet Jeeves rescue these two bumblers from themselves? From sharp banter to physical comedy, this delightful romp is a tribute to the beloved comic characters of P.G. Wodehouse.

DAnn Peterson directs the 6-member cast headed by John Adler as Jeeves. Sets and costumes are designed by John A. Woskoff, and lighting is designed by Mark Halvorson.

An audience discussion with members of the company will follow the matinee performance on Sunday, July 24.
