"Office at Night" is an original play by JL Charrier that literally brings Edward Hopper's painting to life on stage, featuring actors who animate the original painting and add several new scene "paintings" of their own. Hopper was a master at depicting isolationism, loneliness and sexual subtext in America. This play develops a story between two depicted figures and adds several new characters, creating multiple levels of intrigue and a plethora of double-entendres; nothing is as it seems.
