J. A. Moad II is a former English professor as well as a 20-year veteran of the United States Air Force with over 3,000 flight hours and 100 combat missions to his name. In this new one-man show at the Bloomington Center for the Arts, Moad combines his skills as a storyteller and his experiences as a soldier to help bridge the divide between returning veterans and civilians. Outside Paducah features three powerful and fascinating personal narratives of soldiers returning from combat that capture the toll war takes on both those who served and their loved ones as well.
