Pinafore tells the musical tale of a gentlemanly captain who's arranged for his daughter to marry "high," while she has her own romantic sights set "low." Mounds View Community Theatre brings Gilbert & Sullivan's classic musical to the stage as its 34th annual summer production. Using irresistible tunes and hilariously intricate lyrics, the comic operetta pokes fun at class and societal mores. Joe Chvala choreographs and directs this theater gem at Irondale Theater in New Brighton.
