Originally written for his son, Ian Fleming's book Chitty Chitty Bang Bang later became the beloved 1968 film of the same name, and is now reaching a new generation on the stage courtesy of Mounds View Community Theatre. Join the adventure as inventor Caractacus Potts and his two children race to rescue Grandpa Potts from the evil Baron Bomburst in their magical flying car. Music from the Sherman Brothers (who also wrote the music for Mary Poppins), including the Oscar-nominated title song, adds even more magic to this fanciful family production at Irondale Theater in New Brighton.
