"...There's enough vague sexual innuendos and slapstick comedy to keep the musical walking along, although not rolling. For the under-50 set in the audience, most of the rolling was of the eyes, at the classic examples of "mom humor." Termed a "trip down memory lane" by the New York Daily News, the cornball musical is sure to revive old memories for the older crowd. What the younger crowd probably took away from it all was a horror of how unflattering above-the-ankle socks were."

"...On the plus side, Marshall gives Richie's mom, Marion (Lisa Denninger), a little feminist leanings as she sings about how she'd like to be more than a housewife, and she comes up with an idea that boosts sales at her husband's store. Fonzie's squeeze, Pinky Tuscadero (Quinn Shadko), counterpoints that as a daredevil motorcyclist who sings about longing for the house with the white picket fence. It's an interesting juxtaposition. But it's a bit sad that this "Happy Days" isn't better. "

"...So, is Happy Days worth your while? If you’re a fan of the show, it will definitely make you laugh. If you’re not, it is still definitely entertaining, but you have to be prepared to accept it at face value and enjoy some fluff. And really, what’s wrong with a little fluff?"
