Bye Bye Liver Welcomes New Cast for Third Hit Year
May 23, 2012

Bye Bye LiverAs the Twin Cities' drinking play embarks on its third season this summer, Actors Theatre of Minnesota welcomes Kevin Albertson, Jason Bindas, Leah Isaacson, Teresa Mock, and Ben Wagner to the cast. Now playing at the Cabaret Theater at Camp Bar through July 7th, Bye Bye Liver combines theater with adult beverages for an evening that's sure to entertain.

Bye Bye Liver, the Twin Cities' Drinking Play, is two parts sketch comedy and one part drinking game. Composed of gut-splitting comedy sketches mixed with interactive drinking games and male versus female inebriation, Bye Bye Liver is premised on the simple joys and complex consequences that indulging in a drink or two or three... can bring. It condenses the best and the worse from a night out into a 90 minute romp, including the all-too-recognizable cast of characters from the bar-the pushy bouncer, the douche-bag guy who hits on every girl he sees, and the girl who won't shut up about her ex after one too many rounds.

Under the direction of John Haynes, director of the Creative Institute at Actors Theater of Minnesota, Bye Bye Liver - The Twin Cities' Drinking Play has played at the Cabaret Theater at Camp Bar since the Fall of 2010. Prior to that, it had appeared on the stage at the Hennepin Theatre Trust in partnership with Actors Theatre of Minnesota. Bye Bye Liver was originally created by Nashville producer, writer and director Byron Hatfield, and premiered at the Pub Theatre in Chicago. In addition to the Twin Cities, Bye Bye Liver plays in Milwaukee, WI, St. Louis, MO, Chicago, IL, and Toronto.
