Jun 13, 2012

Buddy And The BoysSaint Paul will be bopping the night away with the greatest rockabilly music of the 1950's this July 12th through 21st as Buddy and the Boys takes the stage at the Cabaret Theater at Camp Bar. Rock-and-roll legend Buddy Holly (Nicholas Freeman) will be joined by special guests J.P. "The Big Bopper" Richardson (Scott Jorgenson) and Ritchie Valens (Allen Malicsi) for an evening of the ginchiest tunes of the 1950s.

An authentic tribute to the music of Buddy Holly, Buddy and the Boys promises to take you back to a time when rock and roll was not only the soundtrack of America, but a way of life. Exuding that iconic look and sound of the original 1950s legends, the performance features such beloved songs as Holly's "That'll Be the Day," "Peggy Sue," "Rave On," "Oh Boy," "Everyday," "Words of Love," and "Not Fade Away;" Ritchie Valens' "La Bamba" and "Donna;" and The Big Bopper's "Chantilly Lace."
