Million Dollar Quartet at State Theatre

Million Dollar Quartet

State Theatre
805 Hennepin Avenue Minneapolis

On December 4, 1956, these four young musicians were gathered together by Sam Phillips, the "Father of Rock 'n' Roll," at Sun Records in Memphis for what would be one of the greatest jam sessions of all time. Million Dollar Quartet brings that legendary night to life in an irresistible tale of broken promises, secrets, betrayal and celebrations featuring a score of rock hits including "Blue Suede Shoes," "Fever," "That's All Right," "Sixteen Tons," "Great Balls of Fire," "Walk the Line," "Whole Lotta Shakin' Goin' On," "Who Do You Love?," "Matchbox," "Folsom Prison Blues," "Hound Dog" and more.

  Million Dollar Quartet Reviews

Star Tribune - Somewhat Recommended

"...These big-ego characters have good chemistry onstage, especially in their playing. The tensions that suffuse the room as the egos compete and occasionally clash often feel real in a show that transports us to a moment and a place where some great artists poured out their fiery souls."

How Was The Show - Recommended
