Blind Date
Ordway Center for the Performing Arts
345 Washington St St. Paul
In “Blind Date,” we meet Mimi (played by Rebecca Northan), a Parisian temptress, who is stood up by her date. Always the optimist, Mimi selects one fortunate man from the audience (a different guy every night) to be her date instead. Heart-warming hilarity ensues as Mimi and her man embark on a spontaneous 90-minute adventure. Called “A flight of theatrical fancy that is absolutely magical” by the Toronto Star, this must-see performance is ”the perfect marriage of theatre and comedy,” according to Now Magazine.

Blind Date Reviews
Star Tribune - Highly Recommended
"...It could be anyone in the audience at the Ordway Center in St. Paul, where "Blind Date" is playing. Mostly improvised, "Blind Date" is part sociological study, part dating advice show and entirely entertaining. It's like an extended "Saturday Night Live" skit."

Twin Cities Pioneer Press - Somewhat Recommended
"..."Blind Date" runs to about 90 minutes, if you include the 10 minutes of preshow glad-handing the cast members undertake in the auditorium at the top of the show. It's not difficult to imagine that there are performances when the premise merits that expenditure of time. But, again, at my particular matinee, I found myself checking my watch. Your mileage may vary, depending on your mood, sensibilities and the particular actresses in the leading role."
