Directed by Rob Ruggiero, High stars Kathleen Turner as the tough yet troubled Sister Jamison Connelly, who is asked to help a 19 year-old drug user combat his addiction and ultimately tests her own faith. Struggling between her knowledge as a rehabilitation counselor and a woman of religious conviction, she begins to question her belief in miracles and whether people can find the courage to change. High explores the universal themes of truth, forgiveness, redemption and human fallibility without losing its sense of humor. Turner, for her role in the Broadway production last season, was nominated for a Drama League Award for Distinguished Performance.
