Twin Cities Pioneer Press - Somewhat Recommended

"...What's missing is any sort of glamor, faded or otherwise. A series of dim screen projections join unadorned desks and an ugly wood bench to stand in, unconvincingly, for Desmond's furniture. Yes, the show opens in a sanitarium, but did director Steven Meerdink really want to maintain that institutional vibe for two straight hours? They couldn't afford a simple upholstered fainting couch, even? And with so little to look at, it's easier to focus on the company's vocal talents, which range from stellar to passing."
